Delicious Breakfast made easy

A mom’s life can get quite hectic, so a quick – yet delicious – breakfast recipe can be a life-saver in the morning. With Quaker,  mornings can be a little easier with overnight oats – a satisfying, convenient way to help start your day off right. This easy breakfast solution is becoming a popular staple in many to-go cafes and coffee shops, but you can make this affordable and simple recipe at home in three easy steps.

Overnight oats are prepared the evening before, and offer 100 percent whole grain goodness. In a portable container, simply combine Quaker Old Fashioned Oats with milk, yogurt or any dairy alternative, and add a few layers of preferred toppings, (Sophia loves blueberries and honey). Seal the container and place in the refrigerator to soak before heading to bed. That’s it – you’re done! The next morning, a satisfyingly on-the-go breakfast solution will be ready for you to enjoy, and that means more time for you to do whatever your heart desires – for me it’s getting in some quality time with my daughter. Here is one of our favourite recipes, but with the countless options for you to customize, you’ll be sure to have many go-to favourites.



1/2 Cup(s) Quaker Oats
1/2 Cup(s)  milk
1/4 Cup(s) Greek yogurt
1/4 Cup(s) Blueberries
1 Tablespoon(s) Honey


Add Quaker Oats to your container of choice, pour in milk, and add in blueberries and Greek yogurt. Sweeten by topping with honey before refrigerating.
