Healthy Butter Cinemon Cookie Recipe
Hello sweet friends,
As most of you know I have a really bad sweet tooth. I am always on the look out for healthy treat recipes there are so many amazing recipes out there, that if we take a little time and put in a little effort, we can modify almost all of our favorite guilty treats into a healthy version.
Recently I have been trying a new way of eating its called the Ketogenic diet. It has changed my life and my perspective on food. The ketogenic diet is a super low carb diet designed to put your body into a state of ketosis, where it uses fat as it’s primary fuel source. This happens because glucose (from carbohydrates) is the easiest to convert into energy and hence is the body’s main source of fuel, especially during exercise. By taking away the glucose supply the body turns to the next best thing: fat. Most ketogenic diets get 70 % of their daily calorific intake from fat, 20% is from protein and a mere 5% is from carbohydrates.
Now, I don’t follow this diet perfectly. I love my fruits way too much to fully give them up, but I have learned to create my own diet using the ketogenic principles.
OK with that being said, here is one of my favorite Kito cookie recipes. It’s super simple and a delicious snack minus the guilt.

Cinnamon Butter Walnut Cookies Ingredients:
2 cups Almond Meal/Flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened at room temp)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp Liquid Stevia
1/2 cup chopped walnuts(or any nuts that you like)
80% Dark chocolate melted for drizzle.
Keto Cinnamon Butter Cookies Directions:
Preheat oven to 300
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
Roll into a balls.
place dough in between 2 peices of parchment paper flatten with your hand and roll with a rolling pin or a glass.
Use a 2 inch round cookie cutter (if you don’t have a cookie cutter roll into small balls and press down with a back of a spoon)
Cook for 18-20 minutes.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Drizzle with chocolate.
